Windows keeps killing apps with this message:

The instruction at '...' referenced memory at '...'.
The memory could not be read.
Click OK to terminate the program.

After reading the MS KB article, I realised this is not such a strange message after all.
It's actually a very familiar old friend

no trains this morning due to bad disk?

Just heard on the radio that the failure of the railway systems around Amsterdam this morning had been caused by a bad disk...
